About Us:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Worker V to join our dedicated and supportive team. Our facility is committed to providing high-quality care, and we need skilled professionals to ensure our infrastructure is maintained to the highest standards.
Your Role:
As a Maintenance Worker V, you’ll play a key role in keeping our facilities safe, functional, and welcoming. Working under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll perform skilled trade work approaching the journeyman level across multiple disciplines—including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting—while providing guidance and oversight to other maintenance staff. Your hands-on expertise will be used to construct, renovate, and repair building components, furniture, and fixtures, complete plastering and finishing work, and maintain essential equipment and systems. From electrical and mechanical repairs to plumbing installations and upgrades, your craftsmanship and attention to detail will directly support the daily operations of our facility.
Casual Employment with Growth Opportunities:
This casual position offers flexible scheduling, with hours varying from 0 to 37.5 per week, primarily on Monday to Friday day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. As a casual employee, you’ll be eligible to apply for internal postings, including permanent part-time and full-time opportunities. - Grade 10, plus four years’ recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License required.
