Shipper and Receiver at Bakestone Brothers

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure orders are finished according to shipping schedules.
• Work with team members to ensure an efficient production flow.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack to load, unload transport, and store goods.
• Inspect incoming shipments for damages or discrepancies and report any issues to the Shipping Supervisor.
• Prepare, package, and label goods for shipment as required.
• Get ingredients ready for bakers.
• Do prep for day's production.
• Organize the shipping/receiving areas.
• Record shipping and receiving information accurately into inventory systems.
• Unload pallets and stock shelves.
• Perform tasks as assigned by the Shipping Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Previous working experience with operating power jack and forklift.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse in shipping.
• Must be able to work a flexible shift, including weekends and early morning.
• Must be able to lift heavy weights (up to 20 kgs) and work in the freezer for long periods.
• Good communication skills (ability to read, write and understand English well).
• Quick learner, reliable, able to follow direction.
