Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Total Rewards, the Workday Compensation Analyst will contribute to both Workday implementation activities and ongoing compensation programs. You will play a key role in supporting the configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday’s Compensation modules, while applying core compensation principles to ensure accurate and effective program design. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in compensation concepts, who enjoys working hands-on in a project environment, and wants to gain deeper expertise and experience in HRIS-enabled Total Rewards administration.

Duties
- Workday Compensation Configuration & Support: Support the configuration and validation of Workday Compensation modules, ensuring system set-up aligns with compensation programs, pay structures, and policies.
- Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Collaborate with key stakeholders to collect requirements, document configuration decisions, and maintain accurate project workbooks.
- Testing & Defect Resolution: Participate in end-to-end testing of compensation programs in Workday, identify defects, and support resolution to ensure accurate program delivery.
- Project Execution Support & Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Manager of Total Rewards, HRIS, Payroll, and other key stakeholders to track project activities, timelines, and milestones, and ensure smooth project execution.
- Training & Knowledge Transfer: Support the creation of training materials and provide guidance to users and testers on compensation programs within Workday.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in compensation or total rewards role.
- Experience with Workday HCM and Compensation modules, including configuration, testing, and validation.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, particularly with compensation data.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Able to navigate ambiguity and build alignment in complex environments.
- Experience in healthcare or broader public sector considered an asset.
