We are currently looking for full time Warehouse Associates, who will be working at our Nisku branch in Edmonton five days a week from Monday to Friday from 8:00am – 4:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Load, unload and move products by hand or with basic material handling equipment;
- Operate a variety of equipment to unload and load and move products;
- Weigh products, wrap goods and pack and unpack products;
- Process incoming requisitions which include picking, checking and packing orders;
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices and other documents;
- Shipment of orders;
- Restock bins;
- Maintain and organize inventory;
- Use the inventory control system to locate information, search orders or investigate discrepancies;
- Clean warehouse constantly;
- Other general warehouse duty as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Physically able to lift heavy shipments and products up to 50 lbs;
- Must have minimum 1 year experience on Reach Truck and 1 year experience on Order picker, industrial lift trucks and pallet jack;
- Good communication skills (verbal and written);
- Detail-oriented;
- Ability to work at a fast pace;
- Significant use of memory;
- Ability to operate a computerized inventory control system and scan gun picking will be an asset;
- Team player with a positive attitude;
- Strong problem-solving skills;
- Steel-toed safety boots required;
- One year of related experience will be an asset as we will train.
