Camp Counselor - NDG at Laurus Lifestyles

About The Position

The role of a camp counselor is to ensure the safety of the campers assigned to them and to make sure they have a positive experience at camp. It is their responsibility to communicate any questions or concerns regarding camper satisfaction to the section leader assigned to them.

Responsibilities

• Organize group activities;
• Supervise their group of campers;
• Participate in activities;
• In case of emergency, administer first aid;
• Discipline campers if necessary;
• Communicate camper satisfaction information to section leaders.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and families (an asset);
• Excellent communication skills;
  
  

Available full-time during March Break

• Available to work full-time during the summer (minimum of 30 hours per week for 6 weeks);
• Bilingual (English required & French preferred).
