ABOUT THE JOB

Position: Line Cook

Terms of Employment: Full-Time Monday to Friday. Candidates must be flexible and have the ability to work variable shifts including days, and weekends.

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook full course meals
• Make adjustments as necessary for patrons with allergies, intolerance or social diets
• Ensure quality of food is top notch and consistent
• Follow all recipe and presentation specifications
• Work with specialized cooking equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure that kitchen, all food prep areas and all food storage areas meet cleaning standards
• Clean and maintain station with good safety and sanitation
• Open to learning and developing culinary skills

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of culinary experience in a restaurant required
• Must be able to commute to SE Calgary
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to communicate well with back of house and front of house staff
• Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant is required
