The Opportunity

GovAI helps public-sector teams adopt AI responsibly—safely, compliantly, and in a way that actually sticks for everyday staff (not just power users). We’ve led tens of government rollouts and built a repeatable onboarding model that combines technical readiness, change management, live training, and ongoing partnership.We’re hiring an Implementation Specialist to lead customer onboarding from kickoff through early adoption and into deeper departmental expansion. This is a hands-on role for someone who can run structured projects, work confidently with IT and department leaders, and deliver training that drives real usage.

Job Summary

The Implementation Specialist owns successful rollout and adoption for new GovAI customers. You’ll lead implementations end-to-end: aligning stakeholders, configuring the environment, launching staff communications, delivering live training, running office hours, and using adoption signals to guide next steps. You’ll work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure implementations are on time, high quality, and aligned to GovAI’s standards for responsible AI in government.

How Will You Make an Impact?

  • Lead end-to-end implementation for new GovAI customers, from kickoff through go-live and early adoption.
  • Partner with customer stakeholders to understand goals, workflows, requirements, and success criteria.
  • Configure and deploy GovAI’s products, including setup, integrations, and light customization where applicable.
  • Develop and manage implementation plans, timelines, and milestones, proactively identifying risks and dependencies.
  • Drive customer enablement through rollout communication support, training, and documentation that support adoption and long-term success.
  • Monitor early adoption and customer engagement, identify blockers, and adjust onboarding approaches to improve outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to communicate customer feedback, implementation challenges, and feature needs.
  • Support deeper departmental expansion over time by partnering with champions and department leaders to identify high-value use cases and scalable patterns
  • Maintain accurate project and customer records, tracking implementation progress, issues, and outcomes.


What You’ll Bring to the Role

  • 2–5 years of experience in implementation, customer success, project management, or a technical customer-facing role.
  • Experience working with SaaS products; experience in GovTech or regulated environments is a plus but not required.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple implementations in parallel.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, early-stage environment with evolving processes.
  • A customer-first mindset, strong ownership mentality, and bias toward action.
  • Experience using AI Assistants, including advanced use cases

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with public-sector organizations or government customers.
  • Experience managing SaaS deployments or enterprise software implementations.
  • Experience leading or supporting implementations that involve multiple stakeholders, training, and/or change management.
  • Familiarity with identity, access, and security concepts (e.g., supporting SSO-based deployments) in collaboration with customer IT teams.
  • Experience enabling champions/power users and helping teams standardize repeatable workflows, templates, or playbooks.


Compensation

The base salary for this role starts at $70,000–$90,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications. This role may also include performance-based incentives tied to successful implementations and customer outcomes.
