Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a Pharmacist at Costco Wholesale Canada, located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Responsibilities include dispensing prescriptions accurately, providing advice and guidance to customers on proper medication use, ensuring the safe storage and handling of pharmaceuticals, and supervising pharmacy technicians. The Pharmacist will also maintain compliance with regulatory and legal requirements and support inventory management within the pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Valid Pharmacist license in good standing with the regulatory body in Saskatchewan
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical dispensing, medication management, and safe handling practices
• Strong customer service skills, including the ability to counsel patients and address inquiries professionally
• Attention to detail, accuracy in prescription processing, and ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team, including pharmacy technicians and other healthcare personnel
• Organizational skills for inventory management and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards
• Basic computer literacy for managing pharmacy software and records
• Previous retail pharmacy experience is an asset
