Position Description
As a Journeyman Millwright you will install, align, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical systems and equipment.
You will be covering both DC1 and DC2 for Afternoon shift, (1:00pm – 11:30pm, Monday - Thursday Shift)

As a Journeyman Millwright you will install, align, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical systems and equipment.
You will be covering both DC1 and DC2 for Afternoon shift, (1:00pm – 11:30pm, Monday - Thursday Shift)
- Read equipment manuals and blueprints to successfully complete installations, troubleshooting and repairs
- Inspect and examine equipment to identify irregularities and malfunctions
- Adjust equipment and repair/replace defective components
- Assemble equipment prior to installation using hand/power tools and welding equipment
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to optimize equipment safety, efficiency and reliability
- Complete Work Orders according to PM schedules
- Ensure that work area is clean of debris and hazards at all times
- Work in a safe manner in accordance with provincial and internal LOTO policy
- Perform other related duties as assigned or required
- Ticketed in the Millwright Trade
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- High aptitude with Mechanical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems (An Asset)
- Electrical Experience (Asset)
- Prima equipment experience (Asset)
- Design Experience (Asset)
- Proven track record working with Welding Equipment (ARC, TIG, MIG)
- Above average problem-solving skills
