The Role
We’re looking for a Part-time, Senior Social Media Specialist (contract) who owns organic social outcomes end-to-end. This role blends critical thinking, strategy and precise execution to drive engagement, leads, and brand consistency across social platforms.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
This is a chance to shape the social presence of a flagship studio at the intersection of science, style, and community. You’ll have meaningful ownership, a respected brand foundation, and the opportunity to set the standard for what modern Pilates looks like; not just online, but in real life.

The Role
We’re looking for a Part-time, Senior Social Media Specialist (contract) who owns organic social outcomes end-to-end. This role blends critical thinking, strategy and precise execution to drive engagement, leads, and brand consistency across social platforms.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Create monthly organic social strategy decks (themes, content pillars, cadence, and conversion goals)
- Translate brand voice and point of view into social content (copy and key visuals)
- Define what belongs in the feed vs. Stories and explain the strategy/purpose
- Align organic content with paid campaigns, launches, and studio initiatives
- Review performance monthly and iterate based on what’s actually working (metrics, best day and time to post, what to post, engagement)
- Ability to produce and post content for occasional last minute notices
- Create and publish roughly 5 Instagram feed posts per week
- Edit short-form video (Reels) from raw content capture
- Assist with obtaining and posting user generated content
- Write strong captions, hooks, and CTAs with a conversion-aware mindset
- Create polished, consistent, on-brand posts and stories with careful attention to visual and written detail
- Design the overarching Stories strategy (what should exist daily and why)
- Build templates and guidelines for studio staff to execute Stories confidently (playbook and Canva)
- Create Direct Messages and comment response playbooks based on premium, client-centered responses (FAQs, tone, response time, escalation rules)
- Monitor Direct Messages and comments. Report any escalated issues to the Assistant Studio Manager
- Audit engagement weekly to ensure quality, alignment, and brand protection
- Work closely with the Sr. Manager on content direction and priorities
- Train Assistant Studio Manager and front desk staff on basic Story posting and engagement best practices
- Create clarity and systems so others can support social execution without diluting the brand
- Have 5–8+ years owning both strategy and execution for a brands social media
- Ability to communicate strategy while upholding brand standards and integrity
- Strong organization in maintaining deadlines
- Understand how organic social supports growth and that it’s not just about aesthetics
- A clear, strategic monthly content plan is in place
- Feed cadence is consistent, on-brand, and intentional
- Stories are happening daily via templates and studio support
- Engagement is handled smoothly by studio ops using your playbooks
- The Studio Manager is no longer chasing social issues, it runs cleanly
