The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is primarily responsible for ensuring that the immediate needs of the client are being met through the delivery of consistent quality care to clients by applying nursing knowledge, skills, and judgement to assess clients needs. - You understand the critical role of home health care in supporting the larger health system, and demonstrate confidence in navigating clients and families to other resources to help them meet their goals

- Understands and practices within the scope of practice
- Delivers and documents nursing care on the Client chart using the nursing process
- Reports any change in Client status to the appropriate health discipline team member
- Provides a supportive emotional environment
- Active License in good standing with CLPNA
- Current CPR & First Aid certification
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
- Proof of required immunizations and a negative TB test
- Access to a reliable and insured vehicle, a valid driving license and are able and willing to travel to a variety of settings within Taber
- 6 months experience as an Licensed Practical Nurse
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills required; the ability to communicate in other languages is considered an asset
