Position: Bilingual Translation Quality Specialist

Type: Project-based

Compensation: $35–$40/hour

Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Review French translations for fluency, naturalness, and alignment with local usage in France.
• Identify mistranslations, tone issues, or awkward phrasing in AI-generated content.
• Suggest improvements to better reflect idiomatic and contextually appropriate language.
• Provide structured linguistic feedback on phrasing, clarity, and regional norms.
• Maintain a high standard of accuracy and speed when reviewing content.
  
  

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native or near-native fluency in both French and English.
• Deep familiarity with French as spoken and written in France.
• 1+ year of experience in translation, localization, or editorial review.
• Strong attention to linguistic detail and cultural nuance.
• Excellent reading comprehension and feedback skills.
