Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis at Det'on Cho Management LP

What you will do
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Finance, the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for leading the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting & performance reporting processes for the Det’on Cho Group of Companies. This role provides forward-looking insights, strategic financial analysis, and ensures financial information is translated into meaningful insights which support data-driven decision-making & strengthening financial sustainability of the organization.
What You Bring
The successful candidate, will have obtained the following education and /or experience:
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation preferred, completion of a post secondary degree in Finance or Commerce required.
- Minimum 5+ years related experience, including supervisory experience of people and/or deliverables.
- Proven financial management skills, including knowledge of the accounting cycle and the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles is required.
- Experience with multi-entity or multi-division organization is seen as an asset.
- Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team
- Proven leadership skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Familiarity with Yellowknives Dene language, culture and way of life would be considered assets
