Expected to open in Spring 2026, The Queen’s Cue, Stratford, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is seeking a highly engaged and operationally driven pre-opening Rooms Division Manager to lead Front Office and Housekeeping within a boutique, high-touch environment. This role is designed for a leader who thrives in the operation. You will take full ownership of the Rooms Division - balancing visible, hands-on leadership with accountability for performance, service standards, labour efficiency, and team engagement. With just 31 rooms, this position plays a pivotal role in shaping the guest experience and setting the service culture of the hotel. This is not an office-based role. Success in this position is driven by presence, follow-through, and the ability to lead teams while actively participating in daily operations.
We Are Committed To Providing You With
As Rooms Division Manager, you are accountable for the overall performance, service culture, and standards of the Rooms Division, including Front Office, Guest Services, and Housekeeping. You serve as the Service Champion for these teams - setting the tone for guest relations, reinforcing expectations, and creating a positive, professional environment for both guests and associates.
You lead from the floor. You are visible during arrivals and departures, comfortable supporting the front desk during peak periods, and actively involved in room inspections and service recovery. You balance this hands-on presence with ownership of performance - translating hotel goals into clear team priorities and holding yourself and others accountable to them.
You champion key Rooms KPIs, including guest satisfaction, service consistency, room readiness, quality standards, and labour efficiency. You understand how to manage labour in line with business demand, track performance against budgeted targets, and use guest feedback and operational data to drive continuous improvement.
You play a key role in building the operation - recruiting, training, coaching, and developing teams who take pride in their work. Through visibility, communication, and follow-through, you create clarity, engagement, and a sense of ownership within the Rooms Division.
As part of the pre-opening leadership team, you will contribute directly to establishing systems, standards, and service rituals that define the guest experience from day one, while upholding Marriott brand expectations within a distinctly boutique, Tribute Portfolio environment. Participation in weekly Manager-on-Duty rotations is an integral part of this role.
