- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical system issues
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Test systems to ensure proper functionality and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with HVAC codes and safety regulations
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain findings and solutions
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar HVAC role
- Valid Ontario Certification of Qualification
- One or more of the following licenses:
- G2 or G1 Gas License
- 313A or 313D Refrigeration Mechanic License
- 308A Sheet Metal License
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work on-call (rotational basis)
- Ability to read and execute technical drawings and blueprints
- Physically capable of working on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated platforms
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to make on-site decisions
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills
