Finance Clerk II – Utilities / Accounts Receivable
The Finance Clerk II - Utilities / AR is responsible for the accurate administration of utility billing and accounts receivable functions, ensuring balances are properly billed, reconciled, and collected in a timely manner
Duties include preparing and reconciling residential and commercial utility billings, maintaining utility and accounts receivable records, reconciling ledgers to the general ledger, and assisting residents and businesses with billing and payment inquiries. The position also supports year-end reporting, prepares financial correspondence, and works closely with other City departments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
The ideal candidate will have a business diploma in accounting, a minimum of two years’ related experience, and strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to handle financial information with integrity and professionalism
