Role Overview

Your role is to ensure the administrative coordination of level 1 and 2 northern stations, in order to maintain consistency, compliance, and continuity of processes. You will serve as the key liaison between the Nunavik stations, operations management, and internal services (HR, payroll, training, safety, IT). This centralized position involves managing documentation, schedules, and administrative follow ‑ ups with rigor and discretion, particularly when handling sensitive and confidential information.

Main Responsibilities

Leadership & Supervision

  • Ensure the administrative coordination and support of class 1 and 2 northern stations, guaranteeing accurate follow ‑ ups and smooth communication.
  • Support field teams with workforce management, schedule coordination, documentation tracking, and report production.
  • Assist with recruitment as needed and with the onboarding of station employees, in collaboration with HR, ensuring all required documents are compliant.
  • Plan and organize work shifts for supervisors and teams based on operational priorities.
  • Maintain ongoing administrative communication with the stations to facilitate coordination and issue escalation.
  • Collaborate with the training team to track mandatory requirements and contribute to regulatory compliance.
  • Act as a liaison with internal services (HR, payroll, training, safety, IT) to address the administrative needs of the stations.
  • Manage and protect confidential information related to employees and operations.
  • Perform any other administrative tasks that support the efficiency and consistency of northern operations and the department.
  • Step in when needed, taking on additional tasks that contribute to the success of the department and the network.


What Makes You An Ideal Candidate

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Solid administrative experience, ideally in aviation, transportation, or a multi ‑ site operational environment.
  • Ability to manage complex administrative processes with autonomy and rigor.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English; knowledge of Inuktitut is an asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of northern operations and the realities of remote stations.
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse cultural environments.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Reliability, structure, and respect for deadlines.
  • Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
  • Availability to travel to the North approximately 10% to 15% of the time.
  • Valid driver’s licence is a strong asset.


Compensation

  • Salary and benefits are determined according to company policy.
