Change Management Lead

Apex Systems is a global IT services provider, and our staffing practice has an opening for a Change Management Lead with 5+ years’ experience as a in a similar role with a focus on change strategy, framework, and stakeholder engagement, to place at our client an Enterprise Fleet Management company.

Client: Enterprise Fleet Management Company

Terms: 6 month contract to hire

Rate: $70/ hr

Location: 3 days hybrid, Mississauga, ON

Description:

Facilitates successful change to ensure that changes are implemented successfully, meeting both organization objectives and the needs of employees. Improve the overall experience for employees during transitions by providing support and reducing uncertainty. Maximize the adoption of new processes, technologies, and ways of working to ensure that the intended benefits of change are realized. Ensure that changes are not only implemented but are also sustainable over the long term. Oversee change management activities across the whole organization, especially for large-scale transformation like mergers, acquisitions, or organization restructuring. Focus on departments or functions, ensuring that localized changes align with boarded organizational goals. Work on specific projects, such as the implementation of new software systems, process changes, or strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Change Strategy & Framework – Design and implement strategies to manage project and organizational change effectively, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum adoption. Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies. Define the scope, goals, and objectives of change initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management – Engaging with key stakeholders across different levels of the organization to communicate change objectives, gather feedback and address concerns. Identifying all impacted stakeholders in any chance initiative and create an effective approach to manage and mitigate the change.
  • Change Communication & Impact Assessment - Developing communication plans to keep employees informed about the change. Create and deliver effective communication through various channels to ensure clarity and transparency. Assessing the impact of changes on individuals and teams within the organization and developing mitigation strategies where necessary.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Document change management processes, plan and outcomes. Provide regular reports to leadership on the progress and impact of change initiatives.
  • Performance Measurement: Establishing metrics and mechanisms to monitor the effectiveness of change initiatives, identifying areas for improvement, and adjusting as needed.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Establishing metrics to measure the effectiveness of change initiatives. Monitor progress and adjust as needed to ensure success.

Key Qualifications:

  • A degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Change Management, Communications, or a related field of study.
  • Professional certification such as Prosci Change Management Certification, Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) would be an asset.
  • 5+ years of relevant change management or project management experience in the IT sector. Experience in leadership or managerial roles would be an asset.
