Shipper/Receiver at Plasman

Plasman is currently seeking a new member to join our MATERIALS team as a:

SHIPPER/RECEIVER

The Shipper/Receivers are to assemble the orders prior to shipment at Plasman, Windsor 1 Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize orders as set out by the Materials Manager.
• Preparing these orders for shipment including, labeling, verification, shrink wrapping, etc.
• Notifying scheduling immediately if any order cannot be fulfilled.
• Load and or unload trucks.
• Receive incoming materials.
• Remove labels from containers as required.
• Relieving inventory in TRANS4M as required.
• Any other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications, Skills and Experience We're Looking For

• Must possess a secondary school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to work in a team atmosphere
• Ability to perform well in high pressure situations.
• Ability to work well in unsupervised atmosphere.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills (e.g., Excel, Word, TRANS4M).
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Preference given to those who have previous shipping and/or receiving experience.
• Preference given to those who have previous forklift experience.
  
  

This position offers a compensation rate of $26.76 per hour, dependent on skills and experience.
