Your Opportunity: This Administrative Support III - Registration position will be working under the general supervision and guidance of the Team Lead and Supervisor, RSPI Southwest Zone. This position performs a variety of administrative duties related to interviewing patients/parents in providing accurate and timely registration services for the hospital. Main duties include processing admission and registration of inpatients and outpatients in various registration areas at the Chinook Regional Hospital Description: As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program

Required Qualifications: Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent Additional Required Qualifications: Knowledge and operation of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Medical Terminology required; proficiency test will be administered. Keyboarding skills required; proficiency test will be administered. Knowledge of legislation regarding access, privacy and disclosure of patient information required. Confident to work independently and in a team environment with excellent communication skills. Skilled at paying close attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional image, manage stressful situations with empathy and to remain calm, courteous, sensitive and tactful at all times. Able to prioritize work and cope with frequent interruptions. Must be able to work all shifts based on operational needs.
