DUTIES

Kit and/or modify parts and subassemblies for the assembly of various types of transformers.
Kit all parts from various locations throughout the plant to support production on time.
Performs duties required before and during assembly operation of large power transformers.
Responsible for the preparation of kits, and subassemblies, and/or any changes in parts required for manufacturing.
Crimping/brazing and soldering wires
Operates tow motors, Armstrong, lift trucks and company truck.
Some assembly on transformer when needed.

Qualifications

Must have knowledge of materials used, practices, and techniques used in the manufacturing or transformer.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to operate equipment such as hand tools, jigs, fixtures, drill press, grinders, shears and punches, and power tools.
Must maintain a high attention to detail when checking specification details and report any variation immediately to supervisor.
Must be well organized and work well with others.
