Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
- Assist the Director/Senior Manager in validating Trade Surveillance and E‑Communication Surveillance models.
- Give priority to candidates with prior validation experience in Trade Surveillance models and vendor models.
- Demonstrate strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Python and familiarity with trading products.
- Independently manage validation projects; provide subject matter expertise and design validation frameworks, including research on appropriate statistical and mathematical testing methodologies.
- Conduct research and development of new validation techniques.
- Review all documentation related to validation assignments, including work prepared under the incumbent’s supervision; ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper archiving to support independent third‑party review.
- Maintain relationships with key contacts identified for each validation request submission.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Prior experience in Trade Surveillance and E‑Communication Surveillance model validation.
- Familiarity with vendor models used in surveillance.
- Strong data analysis capabilities.
- Proficiency in Python for statistical and quantitative modeling.
