Salary range (but not limited to):
74,800 - 91,400Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
As a Business Advisor II, Broker Distribution you will be responsible to analyze data, monitor and distribute reports related to broker relationship management and performance. This role will be working directly with the senior leadership and the business development teams in the Atlantic region.
The ideal candidate is a data-driven expert who excels at transforming complex data into compelling stories and strategic recommendations. As a Business Advisor, you will leverage your analytical prowess and innovative thinking to influence key business decisions and drive organizational success.
What You’ll Do Here:
Create and monitor reports and dashboards including analyzing business performance metrics, market trends, broker growth, retention, profitability and industry insights to provide strategic recommendations that align with company goals and enhance business growth.
Craft compelling narratives using various tools to communicate complex data insights in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner to diverse stakeholders.
Provide reporting support to our Business Development Managers by creating data packages to use during broker visits.
Stay up to date on industry trends, data analytics advancements, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge and drive continuous organizational improvement.
Lead small to large scale projects with stakeholders across the operation to enhance efficiency, improve stakeholder experience, drive growth and profitability.
Act as a technical resource to support day-to-day operations.
Work with stakeholders to dive deep into problems, find root causes of issues and determine possible solutions/recommendations. Challenge the status-quo, be inquisitive and curious to dive deep into issues.
Attend and assist with leading meetings with stakeholders to present findings and insights on business needs and future opportunities.
What you’ll bring to the table:
Bachelor’s degree in a data-related field (i.e., Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Actuarial etc.), or any combination of equivalent education and experience
Minimum 3 years of proven experience with working with large datasets and creating data visualization presentations for non-technical audiences
Experience with data analysis and presentation tools (Excel, PowerBI, SQL, SAS, VBA, PowerApps etc.)
Knowledge of broker relationship management and Property & Casualty Insurance considered an asset
Strong ability to think critically, adaptable, analytical and highly innovative
Ability and interest in both strategic thinking and execution of deliverables
Excellent team player while maintaining ability to work autonomous on tasks
Availability to travel within Canada up to 1-2 times a year considered an asset
No Canadian work experience required but must have authorization to work in Canada
