Position Summary...
We are seeking a highly analytical and curious Product Analyst to join Walmart Canada’s Product Management team, supporting our Marketplace and Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) businesses. This role is ideal for an early-career analyst who is passionate about data, energized by complex systems, and motivated by turning ambiguity into insight.
This is a data-first product role. You will be expected to bring strong, modern analytical skills and to act as a thought partner to product and business leaders, using data not just to report on outcomes, but to shape decisions.

What you'll do...
- Own analytical problem-solving for Marketplace and WFS product initiatives, from discovery through post-launch measurement.
- Translate loosely defined business and product questions into structured analyses, clear requirements, and meaningful success metrics.
- Work deeply with large, complex datasets using SQL and analytics tools to uncover insights, diagnose issues, and identify opportunities.
- Build and evolve dashboards, analyses, and measurement frameworks that help teams understand product performance and tradeoffs.
- Synthesize insights across product usage data, operational metrics, seller behavior, and customer outcomes to surface non-obvious patterns.
- Partner closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to ensure decisions are grounded in data and aligned with real-world constraints.
- Support user testing, go-to-market planning, and post-launch evaluation with rigorous analysis.
- Help improve how the team defines, documents, and measures success as Marketplace and WFS continue to scale.
- Be the person teammates turn to when they need help understanding what the data is really saying.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related analytical discipline.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in data analysis, product analytics, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large, complex datasets.
- Experience with modern analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, PowerBI).
- Advanced Excel skills, strong documentation and presentation abilities.
- Hands-on experience using product and project management tools to document requirements, track work, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. JIRA and Confluence are part of your daily muscle memory.
- Experience working with product teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience in eCommerce, online marketplaces, retail technology, or operations is preferred.
