As a Steward / Kitchen Steward, you will play an important role in keeping our kitchen operations running smoothly. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in kitchen areas, washing dishes and kitchen equipment, organizing supplies, and supporting chefs and kitchen staff where needed.

This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, physically active, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a hospitality or resort environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently and safely
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen stations, floors, storage areas, and dishwashing spaces
• Ensure proper handling and storage of kitchen equipment and supplies
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and stocking inventory when needed
• Remove garbage, recycling, and kitchen waste while maintaining hygiene standards
• Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic kitchen assistance tasks
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines
• Help maintain a clean and organized back-of-house environment at all times
• Report maintenance or equipment issues to management when necessary

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward, Dishwasher, or Kitchen Helper is an asset, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage physical tasks efficiently
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight when required
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
