Extreme East Rigging is seeking a hands-on NDE Technician to oversee daily operations and growth of our Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) Division. This working manager role combines field and shop inspection and operational leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead NDE operations and ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.
• Perform and supervise inspections: MPI, VT, LPI, PMI.
• Oversee scheduling, mentoring, training, and performance of NDE staff.
• Maintain ISO 9001 compliance and quality documentation.
• Support business development and service expansion (UT & ET).

Qualifications

• CWB Level III Visual and Level II MPI/LPI.
• Minimum 5 years of NDE experience, with 2 years supervisory experience.
• Proficient in PMI/XRF and knowledge of ASME, AWS, CSA standards.
• Strong organizational, communication, and safety leadership skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred: Experience with UT, & ET; ISO 9001 systems; industrial/fabrication background

Working Conditions

• Office, shop, and field work.
• Occasional overtime, weekends, and travel to remote client sites.
• PPE required.
