Responsibilities

1. Using a combination of sweeping, vacuuming, extracting, spot washing; damp mopping, dusting or polishing, the Housekeeping Aide will clean the following:

1. Housekeeping Aide will clean the following:

1.1 Resident's rooms and bathrooms; including light fixtures, walls

and floor surfaces.

1.2 All common areas of Facility; e.g., lounges, public washrooms,

etc.

1.3 Offices, Conference Room, Multipurpose Room, Quiet room, etc.

1.4 Parkade

2. Empties garbage cans in resident's rooms, washrooms and offices.

3. Vacuums draperies

4. Cleans carts and equipment.

5. Reports equipment/furnishings, etc. repairs and maintenance needs to supervisor.

6. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Education and Experience:

Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent combination of training, education and experience.

2. Skills and Abilities:

2.1 Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

2.2 Ability to deal with others effectively.

2.3 Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.

2.4 Ability to organize work.

2.5 Ability to operate related equipment.

Compensation

The target hiring range for this position is $25.82 to $25.82 with a maximum of $25.82.

Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
