Plant Manager (full time)

Reporting to the Operations Director, the incumbent will manage the activities of employees engaged in all phases of plant operation and maintenance.
What you will enjoy doing*
- Ensure safe and compliant plant operation by enforcing safety rules, issuing work permits, and supervising contractors
- Plan and perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on critical plant equipment such as compressors, pumps, and turbines
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, environmental performance, operational efficiency, and working practices
- Monitor and control plant processes to meet production targets while minimizing costs and avoiding operational disruptions
- Troubleshoot process and equipment issues promptly to maintain reliable and efficient plant performance
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to prevent unscheduled breakdowns through condition monitoring and performance analysis
- Manage spare parts inventory and procurement to ensure availability of critical components for maintenance activities
- Support plant management by preparing reports, updating technical documentation, and assisting with budgeting and investment planning
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork, development, and high performance
What makes you great*
- Hold a university degree or college diploma in a related field such as Engineering or Instrumentation and Controls
- Bring a minimum of five years of plant or process experience and at least three years managing and developing employees
- Demonstrate fluency in both English and French to communicate effectively across teams and stakeholders
- Possess knowledge of compressed and flammable gases, considered an asset for this role
- Show previous management experience with the ability to lead teams and organize work independently
- Have hands-on experience with instrumentation, controls, electrical, and mechanical systems essential for plant operations
- Exhibit strong technical reading and writing skills to manage documentation and reporting accurately
- Be proficient in computer use and demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively
- Work independently in an organized and structured manner while contributing positively to team dynamics
