Administrative Assistant I

Permanent full time - 37.5 hours per week

Position to start August 2026 .

The successful candidate will be responsible for administrative support performing a variety of duties for the Principal, Vice-Principal(s), School Council and School Staff.

A unique opportunity exists for an Administrative Assistant I seeking a challenging career move. This position is multi-faceted and often fast-paced as school environments are.

Preference will be given to those applicants with:

• previous administrative support experience.
• commitment to supporting a healthy work culture.
• receptionist experience (meeting, greeting, and directing people, answering telephone and giving messages to staff and students).
• an ability to create, modify or prepare documents such as letters, memos, handbooks, reports, forms, minutes, newsletters etc.
• photocopier and scanning experience.
• proficient use of Microsoft Office.
• experience in Google Suite.
• comfortable troubleshooting basic technology questions (inc. changing passwords, etc.).
• an ability to work well with staff and interact positively with students.
• an ability to multi-task.

Experience with some of the following would be nice to have:

• PowerSchool (student data / timetabling)
• Edsby (attendance / report cards)
• Google: including Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Classroom, and Forms
• Microsoft Office: including SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
• PASI (Alberta Education Provincial Student Information)
• Hour Zero (Occupational Health and Safety)
• FAME (District work order system)
