We are recruiting a Corporate Analyst to join the Strategy, Communications & Analytics subdivision within the Data, Analytics & GIS team. Reporting to the Data Analytics & GIS Team Leader, this role supports corporate performance, strategic planning, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. The Corporate Analyst plays a key role in helping the Town translate strategy into measurable outcomes through strong analytics, performance reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. This position also contributes to ERP readiness and digital transformation, supporting data quality, process improvement, and system implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Performance & Strategic Analytics

  • Support development and improvement of corporate performance reporting including dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs
  • Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and provide insights
  • Monitor progress of strategic initiatives and identify early warning signals
  • Support preparation of summaries and presentations for leadership and Council
  • Evaluate effectiveness of performance measures and recommend improvements

Data Governance, Quality & Reporting

  • Improve data quality, usability, and consistency across departments
  • Maintain data definitions, documentation, and reporting standards
  • Validate and monitor data for accuracy and completeness

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

  • Analyze business requirements and translate into system and reporting solutions
  • Document current and future state processes and identify improvements
  • Assess process performance and support continuous improvement

System Support & ERP Implementation

  • Support ERP readiness including data mapping, cleanup, and migration validation
  • Partner with IT to support system design, testing, and implementation
  • Define reporting requirements and validate impacts
  • Contribute to system and tool improvements

Collaboration & Communication

  • Facilitate working sessions to align requirements and expectations
  • Communicate insights and support decision-making using data
  • Guide adoption of data standards and reporting practices
  • Champion continuous improvement and data-driven culture

What you Bring

A combination of education and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities to qualify. A typical way to qualify is successful completion of a related University

(bachelor) degree or a combination of other related education and experience in Business, Finance, Economics, IT, or related field, plus:

  • 3 or more years of progressive work experience in corporate analytics
  • Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Effective priority setting, organization and project coordination abilities
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Strong Excel/data analysis capabilities; SQL an asset
  • Experience with enterprise systems such as ERP, HRIS, or budgeting systems What We Offer:
