About Brucejack
Our Brucejack Gold Mine, a high-grade underground mine in beautiful northern British Columbia, is located approximately 65 kilometres north of Stewart. Brucejack is a fly-in/fly-out operation with pick-up points across Western Canada, making it easy for people from different places to join us. We work closely with local First Nations communities including the Nisga’a, Tahltan, Gitanyow, and Gitxsan, to build respectful partnerships and celebrate our shared community.

The committee also plans holiday decorations, charity raffles, and outdoor events, helping create a warm and friendly community.
Your impact
You will strengthen workforce capability, safety, and compliance by delivering high-quality technical training programs. Your work will directly support operational readiness, close skill gaps, and embed a strong safety culture across site.
As part of our team you will
- Design and deliver engaging, site-based technical training programs
- Develop and continuously improve learning materials, including digital and video content
- Coordinate training activities to meet regulatory and site requirements
- Partner with leaders to identify skill gaps and build targeted solutions
- Facilitate onboarding, orientations, and ongoing workforce development
- Use LMS and data insights to enhance training effectiveness and reporting
- Evaluate training outcomes and drive continuous improvement
- Champion safe work practices in all training initiatives
Prerequisites for your success in this role
- 5+ years’ experience in mining, processing, or heavy industrial environments
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven experience designing and delivering training programs
- Knowledge of safety standards, legislation, and compliance requirements
- Experience with LMS platforms and digital learning tools
- Ability to assess training needs and translate them into actionable plans
- High level of organization, planning, and digital literacy
- Relevant qualification in Training, HR, or Health & Safety (asset)
Your work environment
You will work on-site at a remote mining operation, collaborating closely with operational leaders and crews. The role is fast-paced and hands-on, requiring adaptability, strong planning skills, and a commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

The expected salary range for this role is CA$85,400.00 -113,900.00 + 15% STIP . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s pay history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about pay history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
