Playmakers Evening Supervisor at Canad Inns

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced supervisor to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting a Food & Beverage manager with all aspects of the Playmakers Lounge. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy leading a team, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Assists the F & B Manager in their absence with the day-to-day lounge operations through customer experiences, guest service, and daily operations
• Support the Manager to select, hire, train, lead and manage staff
• Ensure all team members have the necessary tools and equipment to perform his or her jobs efficiently
• Oversee lounge to ensure employees are performing jobs to the established standards as set by management;
• Maintain a presence on the floor and assist with every position as required in order for the shift to run efficiently;
• Ensure Servers and Bartenders and other staff are motivated to perform duties to the highest level of excellence;
• Lead, coach, encourage, inspire, train and motivate employees as necessary;
• Respond to guest inquiries, concerns and complaints
• Receive server and bartender cash-outs making sure each are accurate and correct and securing in drop safe
• Scheduling employees in each area of responsibility;
• Adhere to all MLCC regulations governing the service of alcohol, that are appropriate to the position and all other government codes and regulations.
• Processes guest bills promptly and accurately
• Checks the overall condition of the lounge ensuring its readiness and comfort for guests
• All other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry, preferably in restaurants
• Serving and Bartending experience
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling procedures
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective team management
