Respiratory Therapist at Interior Health Authority

We are hiring for a Casual Respiratory Therapists for Vernon Jubilee Hospital. Casual means that hours are not guaranteed and may vary depending on the needs of the department.

Days of Work: days and nights as needed

Shift times/Hours of work: 07:00 to 19:15, 19:00 to 07:15, 08:00 to 16:00, 08:00 to 18:30

About The Role

In this role, you will provide respiratory care in alignment with Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) standards and a client- and family-centered care model. You will work both independently and collaboratively to support clients with a range of acute and chronic cardio-respiratory conditions. This position involves consulting with other healthcare professionals, contributing to quality improvement, and applying best practices in respiratory therapy. You will also maintain and advance your clinical skills and may participate in committees, team initiatives, and approved research projects.
