About The Role

We're looking for physics experts to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models being developed by the world's leading AI research labs. Your deep understanding of physics will directly shape how AI reasons through complex scientific problems — making a real impact on the future of intelligent systems.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for Masters-level physicists who want to put their expertise to work in an exciting, high-impact field — no prior AI experience required.

What You'll Do

• Design advanced physics problems spanning mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, and more to rigorously test AI reasoning
• Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with logically sound, well-structured explanations
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, depth, and quality of scientific reasoning
• Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks across undergraduate to Masters-level physics topics
• Provide structured, actionable feedback that directly improves model performance

Who You Are

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Masters degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a closely related field
• Strong physics reasoning and problem-solving skills across multiple advanced domains
• Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing
• Detail-oriented with a rigorous, analytical approach to quality
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously
• No prior AI or machine learning experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation workflows
• Familiarity with large language models or AI benchmarking
• Background in teaching, tutoring, or academic writing
