Are you a customer-focused communicator who thrives in a fast-paced automotive environment? Dean Cooley GM is seeking a Service Advisor dedicated to our Certified Service Express operation. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers visiting for oil changes, maintenance services, and light repair needs, helping ensure a fast, efficient, and positive service experience.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a high-volume setting where routine maintenance, oil change services, tire rotations, inspections, and manufacturer-recommended scheduled maintenance are the focus. You do not need to be a master technician to succeed in this role — we value a strong customer service mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to keep traffic moving through the oil change rack and Certified Service Express process efficiently.

Your Impact

• Serve as the primary liaison for customers visiting Express Service for oil changes, scheduled maintenance, and basic vehicle service needs.
• Write accurate repair orders and maintenance recommendations using our Dealer Management System (DMS).
• Manage customer flow through the oil change rack, helping maintain speed, accuracy, and a high-quality service experience.
• Proactively communicate service timelines, vehicle needs, and recommended maintenance to customers.
• Coordinate closely with technicians and team members to ensure efficient handling of express services and maintenance work.
• Review completed services with customers at checkout, including maintenance performed and any future service recommendations.
• Help identify and present additional scheduled maintenance opportunities based on mileage, manufacturer guidelines, and vehicle condition.
