EDUCATION CONSULTANTS (100%) SPECIAL PROJECTS
These two full-time special project positions will be available as of July 1, 2026, in the Educational and Technology Services Department at Riverside School Board, located at 7525 chemin de Chambly in St. Hubert.

The Educational and Technology Services department offers direct and indirect support to school teams, administrators, teachers, students and parents. Some of the key dossiers for which the department is responsible include curriculum, teaching and learning, and the pedagogical integration of technology and library services. As a member of this team, you would contribute to these.
NATURE OF THE TASK
The successful candidates will serve as an Education Consultant dedicated to the Service national du RÉCIT (Réseau pour le développement des compétences des élèves par l’intégration des technologies) du domaine des arts. This role specifically involves advisory and support functions for school and service staff regarding the implementation, development, and evaluation of programs of study, classroom management, and didactics.
Specific Responsibilities
- Support the development of digital resources related to the arts.
- Contribute to the mandate of the Service national du RÉCIT du domaine des arts (National RÉCIT Network for the Arts Domain; see below).
The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with the members of the Educational and Technology Services team. Within their mandate, this person will be required to guide and contribute to reflection on educational success and relevant data, in collaboration with school teams and educational services. They will analyze existing data, as well as search for the best tools, resources and means to concretely measure progress.
Please note that the successful candidate will be required to travel regularly to educational organizations across Quebec in support of the RÉCIT mandate.
MANDATE
The mandate is to provide support and guidance services to personnel within the school system, in the field of the arts, for digital transformation and the integration of digital technologies into the school's mission. This is achieved through coaching, training, collaboration, and consultation in response to the needs of the school network, in partnership with stakeholders in the educational ecosystem, and in alignment with ministerial priorities, including the strategic plan and the Digital Competency Framework, as well as research-based evidence.
TARGET CLIENTELE WITHIN THE MANDATE
Teaching and professional staff from all school service centers and school boards in the field of the arts.
ACTIVITIES RELATED TO SUPPORT AND TRAINING
- Act as a resource person to support the integration of digital technologies in teaching and learning for the target clientele within the scope of the mandate.
- Facilitate communities of practice and professional learning communities.
- Develop, distribute, and promote digital educational resources (DERs) for teaching and learning in the arts.
ACTIVITIES RELATED TO COLLABORATION AND COORDINATION
- Participate in meetings coordinated by the Ministry or in any other activities authorized by the Ministry within the framework of RÉCIT activities.
- Develop partnerships:
- With institutions conducting research;
- With organizations operating within the educational ecosystem.
- Plan and implement coordinated and coherent actions aligned with those of other national RÉCIT services, as well as regional and local services.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities related to the mandate.
ACTIVITIES RELATED TO OUTREACH AND VISIBILITY
- Promote innovative projects that positively impact the integration of digital technologies throughout the educational ecosystem and share them with stakeholders in the school network.
- Conduct environmental scanning and monitoring related to the mandate.
- Ensure the visibility and promotion of the service.
- Experiment with digital technologies and digital resources (DTRs) as part of activities related to the arts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A bachelor’s degree in an appropriate specialty, namely education;.
FURTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Teaching certificate (BREVET)
- Proven knowledge of the Quebec Education Program;
- Knowledge of technology and of its integration for pedagogical purposes;
- Excellent skills in both oral and written French and English;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively, as a member of a pedagogical team;
- Commitment to promote equity, diversity and inclusion;
- Autonomy and strong organizational competency;
- Creative and innovative thinking approaches;
- Commitment to their own life-long learning.
SCHEDULE: to be determined, 35 hours per week.
ANNUAL SALARY: In accordance with the Professionals’ Agreement, the salary ranges from $56,670 to $100,410 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
