HSE Administrator at Cahill

Lynk is looking to add a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Administrator to our team! This role will be based in our office in Sydney, Nova Scotia. The HSE Administrator will provide support to our QHSE Manager by assisting with administrative tasks related to the implementation and promotion of our Health, Safety, and Environmental systems.

Our Ideal Candidate will have

  • Diploma in Business Administration (New Grads welcome!)
  • Interest in Health & Safety Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication skills with a positive, solution-oriented approach
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and administrative abilities
What you will do as a HSE Administrator:
  • Tracking, separation, filing and logging of weekly HSE site documents needed for trending.
  • Requesting, tracking and follow up of Subcontractor documents.
  • Preparation of HSE site portafiles and binders project specific and the updating of personnel specific portafiles and binders.
  • Preparation of HSE site Safety Boards and Emergency Response Posters.
  • Monitoring, tracking down and arrangement of Fall Protection Equipment inspections and updating of inventory report.
  • Assist with training notifications to ensure Lynk personnel remain current and eventually updating of training certificates, reports etc.
  • Copying and scanning of new hire certificates.
  • Preparation of in-house training take away packages.
  • Monitoring and notifications of equipment under the HSE scope for annual equipment inspections and calibrations.
  • Checking off HSE supply orders and monitoring of supplies for re-order.
  • Other related administrative duties as assigned.
