Your Mission Brief
WOLF is on the hunt for a full-time Infrastructure Reliability Engineer to join our IT & Security team in Aurora, ON (hybrid).
Reporting to the Head of IT & Cybersecurity, you'll play a mission-critical role in strengthening the secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure that powers our people, platforms, and innovation initiatives across the organization.
This is a unique opportunity sitting at the intersection of infrastructure, cybersecurity, and software development. Acting as a key conduit between teams, you'll help ensure internal platforms remain resilient, secure, and operational while enabling developers to build, deploy, and improve the tools, workflows, and technologies that support WOLF's future growth.
As Infrastructure Reliability Engineer at WOLF, you might…
- Strengthen platform resilience: Support and enhance critical infrastructure, virtualization environments, cloud services, networking, backups, and recovery systems
- Drive automation at scale: Develop scripts, workflows, and infrastructure-as-code solutions that improve efficiency, consistency, and reliability
- Bridge technical teams: Partner closely with software developers to align infrastructure, security, and deployment requirements across projects
- Advance DevOps practices: Improve CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and deployment processes that accelerate delivery and reduce risk
- Champion security-first operations: Implement hardening, access controls, patching strategies, and remediation activities that protect critical systems
- Monitor and optimize reliability: Identify vulnerabilities, improve recoverability, and strengthen the operational health of internal platforms
- Lead proactive problem solving: Anticipate challenges, surface risks early, and drive solutions before they impact users or business operations
- Build operational knowledge: Create clear documentation, runbooks, and technical standards that support collaboration, continuity, and long-term scalability

Your Edge
- You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- You bring 5+ years of hands-on experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, platform reliability, or a related technical field. You are comfortable supporting complex technical environments where security, uptime, recoverability, and operational discipline are critical
- You have a strong foundation in enterprise infrastructure, identity and access, virtualization, networking, cloud platforms, monitoring, backups, and recovery. You understand how critical systems are built, secured, maintained, automated, and improved over time
- You bring a security-first and reliability-focused mindset. You think beyond keeping systems running and look for ways to make them more resilient, consistent, scalable, and easier to support. You are comfortable identifying risk, troubleshooting complex issues, improving operational health, and strengthening the platforms the business depends on
- You are proactive, collaborative, and automation-minded. You work well with IT, cybersecurity, and software development teams, and you use documentation, scripting, repeatable processes, and modern DevOps practices to improve reliability and reduce operational risk
What You Bring to the Table
- Systems Administration Expertise: Experience supporting Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and enterprise infrastructure
- Enterprise Infrastructure: Exposure to DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Linux administration, or similar enterprise technologies
- DevOps Exposure: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and modern software delivery practices
- Infrastructure Automation: Hands-on experience with PowerShell, .NET, Bash, or similar scripting and automation tools
- Virtualization Platforms: Experience supporting virtualized infrastructure environments
- Infrastructure as Code: Exposure to Terraform, Ansible, Bicep, or similar automation and configuration management tools
- Networking Fundamentals: Understanding of enterprise networking concepts, connectivity, and infrastructure troubleshooting
- Security Operations Knowledge: Familiarity with vulnerability management, endpoint security, system hardening, and operational security practices
- Cloud Platform Experience: Exposure to Microsoft 365, Azure, or similar cloud-based technologies
- Platform Reliability Focus: Understanding of monitoring, backups, recoverability, system health, and operational resilience
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working alongside software development teams to support environments, deployments, security requirements, and technical initiatives
- Documentation Excellence: Ability to create and maintain clear technical documentation, procedures, and operational runbooks
- Relevant Certifications: Azure, VMware, Terraform, cybersecurity, or infrastructure-related certifications are considered assets
