AZ Driver at TransPro Freight Systems

Position Overview

We are seeking professional AZ Drivers to support our dedicated Fernlea Flowers operation. This role involves multi-drop deliveries within Ontario, servicing major retail customers such as Home Depot, Rona, and other large retail chains. This is hands-on, customer-facing work requiring a high level of professionalism, physical capability, and attention to detail.

During the flower season, drivers complete daily or multi-day routes using highway tractors with specialized equipment. In the off-season, dedicated drivers have the opportunity to transition into cross-border highway work, ensuring full-time year-round employment.

Key Responsibilities

Ontario Deliveries

• Pick up pre-loaded trailers in Delhi, ON, Nursery Distribution Center.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries to major retail stores across GTA and Ontario.
• Operate highway tractors with mechanical liftgate trailers designed for rolling flower racks.

• All off-loading is completed in parking lots of retail locations. Drivers must identify level areas and non-congested areas in the parking lot for safe off-loading.

• All routes require full driver assist, including:
• • Lowering/rising liftgates
  • Rolling racks onto retail floors
  • Handling product with care
  • Strap and re-strap loaded and empty racks at each stop to ensure proper load securement after each service stop.
  • Break down empty racks, stack them properly and load them back onto the trailer for return to the nursery.

• Route Details

• Multi day out - GTA routes and Northern and Southern Ontario runs.
• Drivers should expect approximately 12–13-hour workdays on each route.
• Ensure accurate delivery and pick counts accompanied with required signatures and maintain excellent customer-service standards at retail locations. Excellent timely driver communication is required.

Off-Season Work

(Optional – conditional on available HWY positions, driver’s qualifications and Safety approval)

• Opportunity for cross-border highway runs when the seasonal work is low.
• Ensures steady, year-round income for dedicated drivers willing to operate in both roles.

Requirements

• Valid AZ License with clean driving record.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable AZ experience (LTL or multi-drop experience preferred).
• Ability to lift, roll, stack, and secure flower racks safely.
• Comfortable performing driver-assist freight and physical labour.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work 12–13-hour shifts and overnight routes when required.
• Must be reliable, safety-focused, and professional at all times.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with liftgates or specialized delivery equipment.
• Previous work with high-volume retail deliveries.
• Willingness to commit as a dedicated seasonal driver position.
• Openness to cross-border work during off-season.

• $3,800.00 bi-weekly potential income
• $375.00 per day flat rate
