Your Role
We are currently seeking a Modification Team Lead (MTL) for our Pickering office. This posting is for an existing vacancy for which we are actively recruiting. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multi-disciplinary nuclear modification projects.
- Develop and maintain installation, commissioning, and execution work plans in Asset Suite Work Management.
- Prepare technical procedure action requests (TPARs) to identify change to operating and maintenance documents
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Design Team Leads, Construction Managers, Field Engineering, Operations, and other stakeholders to support project execution.
- Oversee engineering deliverables, design subcontractors, vendor documentation, and design reviews.
- Perform constructability reviews and support development of construction and commissioning strategies.
- Lead or participate in installation completion, construction completion, Availability for Service (AFS), turnover, and project closeout activities.
- Ensure commissioning specifications, procedures, test results, and acceptance documentation are completed and approved by appropriate stakeholders.
- Monitor completion of pre-installation activities, work packages, field implementation activities, and resolution of punch-list items.
- Support field execution and ensure design changes and field modifications are reviewed, approved, and implemented in accordance with applicable procedures.
- Interface with regulatory bodies and support compliance with pressure boundary licensing requirements, Engineering Change Control (ECC) processes, and station governance requirements.
- Participate in project risk identification, mitigation planning, and recovery strategies.
Qualifications
- A university degree in engineering or technical degree/diploma is preferred. Other professional qualifications will be considered with relevant experience
- 4+ years experience supporting nuclear projects, including engineering, modifications, construction, commissioning, or project execution
- Demonstrated knowledge of project scheduling, project controls, risk management, and execution planning (MS Project, Primavera).
- Experienced in the use of MS Office suite including Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
- Must be eligible to obtain security clearance
- Effective communication, organization and presentation skills
- Results-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence
Compensation
The expected annual compensation range for this position is $90,000-$125,000. Please note that Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining compensation, including but not limited to education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business.
Additional Information
A requirement of working for Tetra Tech is that you are at least 18 years of age and legally entitled to work in Canada. (A copy of a valid work permit may be required.)
