Position Summary

Azhadi Vineyards is seeking passionate and reliable Dishwashers to join our culinary team. This role is responsible for washing dishes while maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen. The ideal candidate is hardworking, detail-oriented, and committed to quality and consistency in a fine dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

Washing Dishes & Cleaning

• Take control of all aspects of kitchen sanitation according to standards.
• Excellent knowledge of the dishwashing machine including al the chemicals needed to properly run the machine.
• Notify management of chemicals and cleaning products needed to operate.
• Has a basic knowledge of the setup in the food preparation area.
• Adheres to standards for cleaning, scrubbing and sanitizing pots/pans, equipment, wall/ceilings, loading dock and properly storing utensils in the correct locations.
• Oversee all the garbage, recycling and composting elements daily.

Kitchen Standards & Teamwork

• Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations, including Food Safe protocols.
• Work collaboratively with other cooks, sous chefs, and the front-of-house team.
• Assist in daily cleaning, waste management, and proper food storage procedures.
• Participate in pre-service briefings and culinary prep work.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow within a high-standard kitchen.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 25 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and follow direction.
• Food Safe certification required.
• Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Compensation

The typical hiring range for this position is $19.00 per hour, the hourly rate offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experiences, and internal equity.
