Nutrition School Worker at Medicine Hat Catholic Board of Education
Locations: St. Louis School & Mother Teresa School
FTE: 0.57 (20 hours per week)

Primary Duties
- Adheres to all AB Education School Nutrition Program Grant Guidelines
- Adheres to all food prep and Safe Food Handling practices
- Assists Nutrition Coordinator and Nutrition Support Worker in the implementation of the School
- Nutrition Program at the designated school
- Works with all School Nutrition program staff collaboratively
- Food transport, delivery and service of food at participating schools
- Meets all cleaning requirements of spaces used in participating schools
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Experience in the food and beverage industry
- Food Safe Certification
- Class 5 Drivers License
- Use of private vehicle (Business insurance required on vehicle used)
- Inspire to learn and understand the various levels of school culture at all participating schools
- Models, encourages, and reinforces student behavior in a positive manner Compliance with Administrative Procedure 401 - Criminal Records Check - AB Children's Services Intervention Record Check. It is mandatory the employee provide these documents for their personnel file. Employment may be contingent on clear background checks.

An employee shall be employed for ten months of the year based on approved days in the school year calendar. The Nutrition School Worker should be prepared to work in August prior to school opening , and at the discretion of the Division assigned Lead Administrator. The Division Assigned Lead Administrator in consultation with the Central Office Designate will assign number of hours required to meet the programming needs.
