Upper Intermediate & English Intermediate Teacher at School District #71 (Comox Valley)

• 0.40 FTE Upper Intermediate French Immersion and English Intermediate Teacher
• Contact Days: Wednesday & Thursday
• Fluency in spoken and written French is required.

The successful candidate will demonstrate education, training, and/or experience in the following areas:

• Inquiry Based Learning
• Pedagogy of Play
• Land-based learning that connects to decolonizing and indigenizing
• Classroom management and positive behaviour approach
• Social-emotional Learning
• Embedding the core competencies in everyday learning
• Current inclusive education practices

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• A collaborative team approach in teaching and planning
• Inclusive practices that support the wide range of learning needs within the classroom
