A career as a PCMLTF analyst in the Detection & Surveillance team at National Bank means acting as an expert in the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing. Analytical skills and knowledge of the various banking products and schemes for money laundering and terrorist financing will have a positive impact on the Bank's internal risk management.
Your job
- Help detect and prevent money laundering and terrorist financing
- Sound knowledge of PCMLTF indicators and schemes as well as FINTRAC and OSFI PCMLTF guidelines
- Analyze transactions, recognise potential risk indicators and make a diagnosis
- Research, collect information and compile data to document files in accordance with established standards in a clear, concise and factual manner
- Maintain sound day-to-day risk management
- Report suspicious transactions to FINTRAC within regulatory timeframes.
- Collaborate with various Bank sectors to offer your expertise.
- Help improve risk management systems and processes.
Your team

Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR certificate university 1 undergraduate and one year of relevant experience, OR diploma three-year college studies or academic equivalent, related to the sector of activity and four years of relevant experience.
- Analytical and analytical skills
- Knowledge of banking operations and products
- Proficiency in world and Excel software
- Knowledge of the law, regulations and guidelines link with PCMLTF, an asset
- Experience in customer service, an asset
- Knowledge of the Bank's various applications/software .
