Personal Support Worker at CareQuilt

We're seeking a compassionate caregiver for a wonderful mother who uses a walker or wheelchair for mobility. Responsibilities:

• Provide mobility assistance for a client who uses a walker or wheelchair, including safe transfers and movement support
• Assist with personal care tasks including bathing and dressing
• Prepare nutritious meals according to preferences and dietary needs
• Perform light housekeeping duties including tidying and maintaining a clean environment
• Provide occasional transportation for errands or appointments
• Take initiative when needed while respecting the client's independence
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with family members about care and any changes

What We're Looking For:

• Experience supporting seniors with mobility devices (walkers, wheelchairs)
• Proven skills in personal care assistance including bathing and dressing
• Ability to prepare meals and handle light housekeeping
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional driving needs
• Fluent English speaker
• Someone who makes clients feel comfortable and brings positive energy
• Calm, patient demeanor with excellent communication skills
• Reliable and consistent with strong attendance
• Takes initiative while respecting client independence
• Right skills and experience for senior care needs

This is a daily care position requiring availability most days of the week. The family needs consistent, dependable support as their mom's care needs have increased. They're seeking a caregiver who can commit to regular visits and build a trusting relationship over time.
