Personnel Logistics Coordinator at Nabors Industries
The Personnel Logistics Coordinator coordinates the mobilization and demobilization of offshore crews and maintains accurate, up-to-date staffing information across operations. Working closely with Operations and Human Resources, the role ensures that the right personnel with the required qualifications and certifications are in place to meet operational needs safely and efficiently.

Post-secondary education in Business, Logistics, Human Resources, or a related field (recommended).
Experience in personnel logistics, crew scheduling, or workforce coordination, preferably in oil and gas or another offshore or remote operations environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
High attention to detail and accuracy in managing personnel data and schedules.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across operations, HR, leadership, and external partners.
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive personnel information.
Strong PC skills, including MS Office; experience with staffing or personnel management systems (e.g., Dawinci) considered an asset.
Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Coordinates the mobilization and demobilization of offshore crews, including travel, transportation, and accommodation logistics, working with travel providers and logistics partners to arrange offshore transport such as flights and helicopter or marine transfers.
Ensures personnel meet all medical, training, and certification requirements prior to mobilizing offshore.
Manages personnel movements and schedule adjustments to ensure operational readiness, balancing employee availability, qualifications, and regulatory requirements.
Tracks and documents crew movements, rotations, and temporary position changes, maintaining accurate personnel records in company systems.
Prepares and distributes weekly staffing updates, crew schedules, and rotation plans to operations and relevant stakeholders.
Maintains and coordinates an ad hoc workforce to support operational requirements, additional work scopes, and unplanned personnel shortages, administering staffing requests in accordance with collective agreement provisions and established union recall processes.
Works closely with Operations to identify and address gaps in staffing and operational coverage, escalating as needed, and participates in resource planning meetings to translate staffing decisions into actionable schedules and communications.
Supports workforce planning for additional work scopes, end-of-well activities, project-based requirements, and crew transitions by identifying personnel requirements and coordinating mobilization plans.
Collaborates cross-functionally with HR, Operations, HSE, and leadership teams to ensure workforce planning aligns with operational objectives and business priorities.
Partners with Human Resources on recruitment, onboarding, personnel changes, and the accuracy of employee data.
Liaises with rig supervisors and offshore leadership to keep crew and position information current.
Maintains personnel-on-board (POB) and tracking information to support safety, compliance, and emergency response requirements.
Assists the Finance department with month-end reconciliation of platform personnel, preparing and providing supporting reports as required.
Supports compliance with client and regulatory requirements, including providing staffing information for audits.
Prepares staffing reports and metrics for management as required.
Identifies opportunities to improve staffing and logistics processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Performs additional duties and special projects as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Primarily office-based in support of offshore operations; occasional travel to company locations or offshore installations may be required.
May require work outside of regular business hours to support crew changes, mobilizations, and operational demands.
Requires responsiveness to time-sensitive staffing and logistics needs.
