Job Title: Data Center Technician

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Varennes , QC

Pay Range:$22-$26/HR CAD

Day to day responsibilities

• Propose and implement cost-effective, sustainable operational improvements.
• Conduct detailed technical inspections to ensure equipment performance, health, and safety..
• Collaborate with global teams to maintain Client's data center reliability standards.
• Work on generators - inspections, checking oil fuel
• Preventative maintenance on monthly basis
• Familiar with Automatic switch transfer
• Monthly maintenance of Air handling units - understand how evap mode works, understand how air handling works, how it cools down equipment.
• Controlled air handling units

Must-haves

1. 1 year or experience or masters degree in electrical/ engineering.
2. Knowledge of electrical systems (low and medium voltage) and mechanical systems (HVAC, cooling/ heating, medium voltage systems, ventilation, transfer switches, breakers, bus bars, and generators, control modules, PLCs - programmic logic controller, relays, instrumentation concepts).
3. Strong communication skills in English and French.
4. First Aid training completed in Quebec (must be certified) - Can be completed first month after joining.
