LOCATION: Centennial Carstar Amherst, NS

HOURS: Full time, Permanent. 40+ hours per week.

COMPENSATION: Competitive compensation package including base salary plus performance-based incentives. Company vehicle or vehicle allowance may be available for the successful candidate. Expected annual earnings of $60,000 - $75,000+ , negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • In this role, your leadership will directly influence the experience of our customers, the success of your team, and the continued growth of the business.
  • Leading, coaching, and supporting a high-performing team while fostering a positive workplace culture
  • Delivering an exceptional customer experience from initial contact through vehicle delivery
  • Overseeing daily operations to ensure repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards
  • Establishing and improving processes that increase efficiency, consistency, and profitability
  • Monitoring workflow, production schedules, and repair timelines to support operational success
  • Building strong relationships with customers, insurance partners, suppliers, and vendors
  • Supporting employee development through coaching, feedback, and performance management
  • Monitoring key performance indicators and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Maintaining compliance with safety, environmental, and CARSTAR operational standards
  • Taking ownership of the overall success, growth, and performance of the store

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Proven leadership experience in collision repair, automotive, or a related industry
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing operations, workflow, and performance metrics
  • Financial awareness with the ability to manage budgets, profitability, and operational efficiency
  • Knowledge of collision repair processes and estimating systems is considered an asset
  • Experience with Mitchell, Audatex, or similar estimating software is considered an asset
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Valid Canadian driver's license required
