Structural Designer (EIT / P.Eng.) at ART Engineering Inc.

Art Engineering Inc. (AEI) is currently seeking a Junior or Intermediate Structural Designer (Engineer in Training or Professional Engineer) to join our growing team in Ottawa, Ontario. Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 (Additional years of experience for experienced applicants will be considered for an increased salary range)

Primary Responsibilities

• Complete structural analyses, calculations, and designs for a variety of projects
• Prepare structural drawings and technical reports for projects under the guidance of experienced engineers
• Conduct site inspections and field reviews
• Communicate directly with clients and contractors

Minimum Qualifications

• 1-4 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering
• Knowledge and understanding of relevant local standards and codes (CSA, OBC, etc.)
• Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Valid ‘G’ driver’s license and access to personal vehicle for travel to project sites
