We are seeking an experienced data driven professional to support the planning, financial analysis, and execution of Apple’s sports rights including Formula 1, Major League Soccer, and Major League Baseball.
Apple’s Sports Marketing team is seeking an experienced individual to join as the International Marketing Lead. This role will help drive the development of marketing strategy, operations, and end-to-end execution of global campaigns that build awareness, growth and engagement for the Sports business.
- Help optimize the performance of Apple’s sports properties globally - Analyze critical new business opportunities including new sports rights
- Set benchmarks and KPIs for the Sports business including the Apple Sports app
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support on-going strategic planning processes
- Develop and own models for key strategic initiatives - Monitor industry trends worldwide to identify key market insights
- Manage a variety of projects and initiatives with minimal direction
- Present analyses and recommendations to senior executives
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of the integrated marketing plans for F1, MLS, Friday Night Baseball, and Apple Sports, driving awareness, acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Partner with Worldwide geo teams, Sports Marketing Leads, and International agencies on annual planning, paid media campaigns, and budgets.
- Work closely with creative teams to deliver localized, geo-relevant, creative campaigns and activations that connect plans and product ideas globally across all sports at Apple.
- Lead key International partnerships from strategy-to-planning-to-execution, and partner with geo teams to identify and unlock local opportunities to expand plans globally.
- Work across the Apple ecosystem to drive cross-platform promotion and engagement across Apple Services Internationally.
- Synthesize multi-geo audience insights and translate into accountable marketing strategies grounded in KPIs, budget discipline, and performance results.
- Translate leadership priorities into action by operationalizing the systems, processes, and structures that keep the marketing team aligned, unblocked, and moving with speed and clarity.
- Present strategies, creative concepts, and performance learnings to senior leadership, aligning on priorities and business impact.
- Ensure all marketing reflects Apple’s brand standards, design principles, and tone of voice.
Minimum Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in sports marketing, entertainment, or digital media, with a proven record of leading high-impact sports marketing initiatives and driving user growth, engagement, and retention for consumer-facing digital/mobile products.
- Expertise in developing and executing multi-geo, integrated, insight-driven marketing campaigns — from brand strategy through full-funnel activation — with exceptional storytelling that connects creative ideas to measurable business outcomes.
- Highly skilled at leading cross-functional teams and translating data and insights into actionable marketing strategies and presentations for senior leadership.
- Bachelors Degree

- Deep passion for sports, technology, and media, with a strong understanding of sports culture, fan behavior, and emerging consumer trends; proven ability to adapt creative and messaging across diverse regions and markets.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment — integrating marketing, product, and business priorities while putting the Apple user at the center of every decision to ensure each experience feels distinctly Apple.
- Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills; able to foster strong partnerships across internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver impactful marketing initiatives.
- MBA, a plus
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $156,600 and $235,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple Inc.’s discretionary employee stock programs. Employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit award recommendations, and can purchase Apple Inc. stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple Inc.’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Participation in Apple Inc.’s discretionary stock programs is governed by Apple Inc.’s stock plans and agreements and are not part of local employment contracts or compensation.
